Sony is going to complement its range of C-Fast Memory Cards with their new G Series CFast 2.0 Memory Card from the first quarter of 2018.

The Sony CFast 2.0 G Series memory card offers the speed and capacity that pros and prosumers need. Whether for photography, broadcast, or theater, the top write speed of up to 510 MB/s1 enables continuous raw burst shooting, and the top read speed of up to 530 MB/s1 allows fast transfer of large files including 4K videos. It keeps up with the ever-growing power of high-end DSLR and 4K broadcast cameras. VPG1302 support ensures a minimum 130 MB/s sustained write speed for theater-quality video recording.

Applying an advanced algorithm, Sony’s File Rescue realizes a higher rate of recovery for RAW image or MOV files captured on Canon devices.

The memory card will be available in three different sizes: 32 GB (CAT-G32), 64 GB (CAT-G64) and 128 GB (CAT-G128). Their price is’nt published yet.
