GoPro HERO7

Just in time for Photokina GoPro released a new addition to their line-up of action cams: the Hero7. It is available in three different editions: White, Silver and Black. Sales started at the end of September. The line up covers everything, from beginner to professional, which makes them interesting to almost every videographer.

The GoPro Hero7 Black is the most expensive one of them three, but also offers the most features, like improved audio, live-streaming to social media platforms like Facebook, and a new time lapse mode called “TimeWarp”. It comes with ‘Hypersmooth’ electronic image stabilization, which GoPro called “the best in-camera video stabilization in any camera, ever”. The HERO7 Black delivers 4K60 video and 12 MP photos and it is waterproof up to 10m. The high frame rate with 1080p / 240 videos makes it possible to slow down recordings up to 8 times.

The Hero7 Silver delivers 4K30-Video and 10-MP-Photos with WDR. The Hero7 White delivers 1080p60 videos and 10-MP-Photos.
