Syrp Genie II

“A new era of motion control.” That’s what Syrp calls it. The Genie II is supposed to be stronger, faster and quieter than its predecessor with the same attention to simplicity and portability. Because of its small size you can still fit it in your backpack, but don’t get yourself fooled by that. It will feature keyframes, full camera control, Live View, high speed wireless connection, multi-axis movement and much more.

LINEAR
With in-built joystick, the Genie II Linear can attach to any slider or other accessory on the market to transform it into a motion control device.

PAN TILT
The Pan Tilt Drive introduces filmmakers to a world of options when out filming – use on a tripod for Pan Tilt motion, or combine with Genie II’s Linear Drive for the full Genie II experience.

3-AXIS CONTROL
Combining the Genie II Linear with the Pan Tilt gives the ultimate 3-Axis motion control tool. You can set everything up on the App or use the on-board controls for shooting time-lapse, video, panorama and more.

MODULAR
You can use the Linear and Pan Tilt drive separately or together for a 1, 2 and 3 axis filmmaking tool.

FULL KEYFRAMED MOTION
With its new keyframing feature you can adjust the Genie II’s course and speed of your move . Each axis can be setup and controlled independently for complex video and time-lapse movement.

AUTOMATED BULB RAMPING & TIMELAPSE COMPILER
Time-lapsing scenes that include drastic changes in light has always been a challenge, but now with full camera control, you’ll be able to ramp exposure automatically. Keep tabs on how it’s going by getting the App to compile a time-lapse preview on the fly, so you can see it all right there and then.

LIVE MOVEMENT CONTROL
Genie II offers live movement control on both Linear and Pan Tilt with easy-to-use joysticks. You can be in control of your speed and change direction of 1, 2 and 3 axis shots at any time.

FULL WIRELESS CAMERA CONTROL + LIVE VIEW
Whether it’s during a time-lapse or for setting up a video shot, you can keep your camera’s settings dialed in, perfect for the Slingshot and other filming situations.

MULTI-ROW PANORAMA
Setup multi-row Panorama shots directly from the app using the Pan Tilt Drive and create high-resolution images with the tap of a button.

LIGHTNING FAST QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM
The Quick Release plate (Patent Pending) can be attached to the Tripod Head and snaps directly into the Linear drive for a secure attachment. Genie II Pan Tilt has also been designed to click straight into the Linear drive making it ultra stable, quick to setup and secure.

GENIE MINI INTEGRATION
You can integrate the Genie Mini with the Linear Drive for a lower profile and more powerful 2 and 3 axis motion control setup providing a more cost effective 3-Axis option.

ENDLESS TRACKING
The flagship rope drive system of the Genie II Linear means that you can use it on any length track or slider by simply using longer rope.

VERSATILE
If you already have a slider it’s simple to attach the Genie II Linear drive to your existing system to add motion control. Genie II is also compatible with dollies, cable cams and any of your DIY gear meaning it never gets outdated as you upgrade your kit and lasts you a lifetime.
