DJI introduced the new Zenmuse X7. It is the most powerful camera produced by DJI and the world`s first compact Super 35 mm sensor camera for professional aerial cinematography. The new device with integrated gimbal and compatibility with DJI Inspire 2 drone is made for high-end filmmaking and delivers stunning resolution and image quality. It utilizes 24 MP CMOS sensor to shoot 6K CinemaDNG RAW or 5.3 Apple ProRes with support for continuous RAW burst shooting at 20 fps and 24 MP stills. It also features new DJI Cinema Color System that preserves accurate colors enabling easier post-processing and seamless editing.

Super 35 mm sensor
Super 35 mm sensor supports RAW output at 6K/30 fps and 3.9/59.94 fps. It features 14-stops of dynamic range which is much wider than the 12.8 stops featured on the Zenmuse X5S and offers a higher light sensitivity. The pixel size reaches 3.91 μm and the diagonal length of the sensor is 26.6 mm during recording. The SNR of the Zenmuse X7 is 46 dB and its tonal range reaches 9.41 bits.

DJI DL-Mount System
DL-Mount is the world’s first integrated aerial lens mount. It allows fast switching between 4 available prime lenses. DL-Mount is a compact mount with flange focal distance of 17 mm and with attached lens weighs only 630 g. Zenmuse X7 together with compatible drone Inspire 2 weigh approximately 4 kg and have the ability to capture the same challenging shots as bigger setups weighing up to 40 kg.

DL Lenses
Available for DL-Mount are 4 prime lenses with a focal length ranging from 16 to 50 mm and resolution of up to 8K. Crafted specifically for the Zenmuse X7’ sensor prime lenses are made of lightweight carbon fiber and include advanced technologies.

New color system
Color system includes a new D-Log curve and D-Gamut RBG color space. Those features provide among others wider dynamic range under similar settings, carefully balanced saturation on R/G/B color and softer skin tones.

DJI Care Refresh
DJI offers a new protection plan for the new DJI products – DJI Care Refresh. It covers accidental damage to the products during 12 months of normal use and for additional charge DJI Care Refresh offers up to two full replacements.
